To me, the best "awards" I receive come from happy clients and the lifelong friends I have made over the last 27 years in business. However, I am honored and privileged to announce that two of my favorite photos have recently been accepted into the Loan Collection of Professional Photographers of America 2011 International Photographic Competition. A definite honor, this exhibition will be held in January in New Orleans, LA during the Imaging USA Convention - a huge industry event. My work will be on display at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, January 15-17, 2012, in New Orleans, LA. Knowing that over 4,000 entries were submitted, and only 600 selected, I am humbled to have been chosen to be featured. This represents a very small portion of the industry and truly showcases fine art portraiture in an incredible light. What's more, our images will also be published in the much-anticipated “Loan Collection” book - where only 200 photographs are shown worldwide! Here, I share a glimpse of the special photographs that were chosen, titled Peaches and Cream & Tender Touch.
